Day 1: Chiang Mai

Pick up in the morning from the airport or hotel. First visit Wat Prathat Doi Suthep mountain temple, the holy pilgrim site of Chiang Mai and enjoy the views of the city. After a short trip through the northern capital visit one of Chiang Mai's famous orchid farms. In the afternoon have a look to some local handicraft centers, such as umbrella-making, lacquerware, silverware etc.

Day 2: Chiang Mai

Tour to Doi Inthanon National Park (Thailand's highest peak, 2565 m). Enjoy nice mountain sceneries from the 2 pagodas on the peak and picturesque waterfalls, such as Nam Tok Mae Ya. Visit at a Karen and Hmong hill tribe village on the way. On your return to Chiang Mai stop in Lamphun at one of the most beautiful temples in Thailand, Wat Haripunchai.

Day 3: Chiang Mai

Early morning heading for an elephant camp outside of Chiang Mai to observe elephants taking their morning bath. Then enjoy a 1 hour elephant safari through the forest, as well as 1 hour on a bamboo raft down the river. After lunch drive back to Chiang Mai. End of the tour.
