"If you want to let your soul fly or relax from a strenuous trekking tour, SANG TONG HUTS will be the right place for you. The guest house is located on the outkirts of town about 10 minutes away from the center. The nine huts are surrounded by a large garden, each of them has its own veranda with a nice view to the mountains and the valley. The roomy and individually designed bamboo-bungalows are built with natural materials in the northern-thai style and have different equipment depending on what you like to have or need, They range from basic with common bathroom through to luxurios with european bathroom, fridge and fully furnished.
Food is also available. The breakfast menu starts from a simple toast with homemade jam to müsli or omlets with tomatoes and ham. In the evening the guests meet at the big table in the kitchen house and look forward to what Muk has prepared for Dinner. She offers a rich menu of Northernthai or Burmese kitchen, mostly 3-4 courses and everybody can eat as much as they like. After Dinner the guests are able to sit around a campfire for a chat or exchange travelling experiences. Also the big library with english literature including travelbooks and information about the region invites you to sit down. Sang Tong Huts opened around ten years ago and is owned by a Thai (Toe) and his german wife (Babs).
