There are 3 seasons in Northern Thailand, the cool season from November to February, the hot season from March to May and the rainy season from June to October. All this seasons have their own beauty and rainy season does not mean that it rains all the time, downpours very often do last only 1-2 hours. Temperatures in remote areas and mountain villages can drop much further during night time in the cool season than shown in above data, which is valid for the city of Chiang Mai.
